The performance of Yachtsign™ letters and signs, even under the most extreme conditions above and below water, can be described best as perfect. The signs consist of individual letters or scripts and are manufactured from ½” thick acrylic glass. A lighting system using specially designed LED’s is embedded in the inside of the acrylic body and sealed water and air tight. The fronts of the letters can be designed using a variety of materials: Standard choices include colored foils and vinyl films, high grade stainless steel and gold plated stainless steel. Other salt water resistant materials may be used as well: certain types of wood, lacquered or painted metals, aluminum and ceramics there are almost no limits. It is needles to say that clients can choose from hundreds of fonts, sizes and colors. Once the light systems are bolted or screwed to the hulls and connected to the on board power circuits they will emit their unique light. Power consumption is so minimal that Yachtsign™ lighted letters can be installed on any type of yacht. As an additional feature the lighted letters can be attached to an on-board alarm system and will flash when the alarm is triggered.
